El premio se entregar\u00e1 en el 26\u00b0 Congreso Internacional del Vidrio (ICG) en Berl\u00edn del 3 al 8 de julio de 2022.<\/p>\n<p>El Premio de Investigaci\u00f3n Otto Schott por logros cient\u00edficos sobresalientes se present\u00f3 por primera vez en 1991. Desde entonces, el premio se otorga cada dos a\u00f1os para reconocer a investigadores excelentes por sus logros cient\u00edficos y tecnol\u00f3gicos en la investigaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica y aplicada en los campos del vidrio, vitrocer\u00e1micos y materiales avanzados. Este premio de investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 regido por la Stifterverband f\u00fcr die Deutsche Wissenschaft y se convoca a nivel internacional. Por este motivo, la lista de ganadores incluye nombres de investigadores de EE. UU., Rusia, Jap\u00f3n, China y otros pa\u00edses europeos, as\u00ed como f\u00edsicos y qu\u00edmicos de Alemania.
