In the context of the energy crisis Cerame-Unie is collecting information from its members to better understand and monitor the evolution of the impact of the energy crisis on the ceramic industry, on the production, employment, raw materials and the whole supply chain. The data will be presented in an aggregated form, when deemed appropriate it may be shared with the European Commission which is regularly contacting Cerame-Unie to request updates on the impact of the crisis. It is particularly important to receive updates on the evolution of supporting measures adopted at national level in the framework of the TCF of 28 October. It is equally important for Cerame-Unie to be able to provide the EU authorities with a representative and up-to-date picture of the ceramic industry.
Accordingly, we kindly call on all national associations or direct company members to provide updated information on the impact of the energy crisis through the following online survey. Although this is an ongoing data collection and CU will be making use of any relevant information as soon as it made available to us, we are inviting the respondents to complete the online survey by Friday 26 January 2023.
