We are very pleased to invite you to attend the 2024 PRE Congress, to be held in Hamburg, Germany, from 19-21 June 2024.
The 2024 PRE Congress will be kindly hosted by the German Refractory Association (DFFI) and sponsored by Refratechnik, RHI Magnesita, and Europe Commerce. We are hoping for a high attendance, and we encourage all PRE Members to share this invitation with their member companies.
For that purpose, please find here the official Invitation Letter and the preliminary Programme of the event.
All meetings will be held at the AMERON Hamburg Hotel Speicherstadt (AM Sandtorkai 4, D-20457 Hamburg). In parallel with the PRE Congress, there will be an exciting programme to discover the city of Hamburg.
This year, and since the Workshop themes complement each other, PRE Members will have the possibility of attending all the sessions. The Workshops will be organised in a «World Cafe» format.
All the registered participants will be divided into 3 groups, and the order of the Workshops will be assigned & communicated to each group by email (to be sent by the PRE Secretariat), when the registrations for the Congress officially close (mid-May).

ACCOMMODATION:
PRE Members can secure rooms at discounted rates until 24 April 2024, through the following LINK, or the Hotel Booking Form in attachment.
The following room categories (incl. breakfast) are available (prices per room/night):
- Double room for single occupancy with breakfast included: 215 €
- Double room for double occupancy with breakfast included: 239 €
A free cancellation of the room reservation is possible up to 48 hours before arrival. Afterward, the hotel reserves the right to charge cancellation fees up to 90% of the agreed room price.
We strongly advise you to make your reservation as soon as possible to secure the room’s availability and special rates. After the deadline, all the unbooked rooms will be released, standard rates will apply and the availability of pre-booked rooms can no longer be guaranteed.
